Prevent Health Imbalances

The Science of Prevention is a cornerstone of Ayurvedic Health and Wellness knowledge. Ayurveda places a great emphasis on prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through close attention to balance in one’s life, right thinking, diet, lifestyle and use of herbs. In Sanskrit it has a term of “Swastha Vritta”. Swastha: Swa means “Self”, Stha means “established”, thus Swastha means “Established in the Self, or a person who is established in their unique body constitution, also known in Ayurveda as Prakriti. Vritta means “science”,“knowledge” or “information”. When we put both terms together, we arrive at “Knowledge of Being Established in Self” which implies presence of complete physical, sensory, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Sounds incredibly beautiful, doesn’t it?
